Affiliate disclosure
Every partner that pays us, every offer we turned down, and the rule that keeps the two apart.
The links that pay us
Three partners can pay Facade Files a commission, and their links always travel through a /go/ address, marked sponsored: DentalPlans.com and Careington, both sellers of discount dental plans, and Opencare, a US dentist-booking service. A commission never moves a number on this site — the cost bands come from published studies and named sources, and would read the same if every programme closed tomorrow. On any page that carries one of these links, you will find the disclosure sitting above the first link, not hiding down here.
A discount dental plan is not insurance. It is a paid membership that reduces listed fees at dentists who accept it; you still pay the discounted bill yourself, and whether cosmetic work is discounted at all depends on the plan's own fee schedule.
The refusals, published so they bind us
We refuse programmes that fit this lane and would pay. Shiny Smile Veneers runs an open affiliate programme; we are not in it. Snap-on appliances are a legitimate search interest and we cover them honestly in the snap-on file — but recommending a mail-order impression product for commission, on a site that tells you an examination comes first, would be pointing two ways at once. The same door is closed to every snap-on brand, not just that one.
Beyond snap-ons: no clinic is recommended, ranked or linked here, in any country — not for veneers, not for anything. The collapsed direct-to-consumer aligner brands — SmileDirectClub, Byte, Candid — are named on this site only as history and are never linked. And we print no discount-plan savings percentage anywhere, because the operators' own pages either don't publish one or sit behind a bot wall we can't verify through.
Changing this page
A refusal published here can't be quietly reversed. If a policy above ever changes, this page changes first, says what moved and why, and the change is dated. Questions about any of it: write in.
